OST, Inc. Wins National Institutes of Health CIO-SP3 Contract
Washington, D.C., October 2012 – OST, Inc. has been awarded a contract on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) as part of the Small Business Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), a 10 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. CIO-SP3 is a $20 billion federal GWAC used by agencies including the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), as well as Department of Defense (DoD) agencies to purchase Information Technology (IT) services to support complex health and biomedical initiatives, streamlining the ordering of IT services, and to meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements.
OST competed for seven of the 10 task areas covered by CIO-SP3: IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare; Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support; IT Operations and Maintenance; Integration Services; Digital Government; Enterprise Resource Management; and Software Development. We will assist our government customers using the CIO-SP3 contract vehicle by combining our health, health science, and biomedical IT expertise with efficient program and Task Order (TO) management.
