OST Wins Veteran Affairs Web Site Requirements Analysis Contract
October 3, 2007 Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 1, 2007 – Optimal Solutions and Technologies (OST), a CMMI Level 3 externally appraised information technology services provider, announced that the company has been awarded a contract to provide a range of Web Site Assessment services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). The VA EPMO focuses on people, processes, and tools used to build strong organizational IT project management and portfolio capabilities. The EPMO also collaborates with VA organizations to improve IT project, program and portfolio management across the entire Department.
“Currently, the EPMO utilizes multiple web pages to provide access to information, guidance, toolkits, training, and resources related to the IT project, program and portfolio management” explained Vijay Narula, OST President and CEO. “The objective of this contract is to define the requirements for a robust web solution that will more effectively support the EPMO mission and needs of the IT project, program and portfolio management community.”
OST will undertake a comprehensive operational assessment of the EPMO current web site offerings and environment, then perform a requirements analysis to define the enhanced website, as well as a gap analysis that will detail what is required to move the EPMO from the current web site to the desired web site.
Ajay Madan, OST COO, commented on how well the company is positioned to assist the VA in this area. “OST understands the VA's need for an efficient and effective web site. Our ability to define a web-based solution that meets the needs of the EPMO is gained from having successfully crafted and deployed innovative and collaborative web-based solutions for customers with similar requirements.”
