Director of IT & Security
Navin Sharma is the OST Director of IT & Security, bringing over 20 years of experience leading complex IT and cybersecurity programs across the defense, intelligence, and federal civilian communities. Throughout his career, Navin has delivered secure infrastructure and modernization initiatives for organizations such as the U.S. Army, the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, and the Internal Revenue Service.
At OST, Navin leads the organization’s IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance functions across geographically dispersed offices, defining infrastructure roadmaps and security strategies for both classified and unclassified environments. He also serves as Facility Security Officer, guiding the company’s adherence to NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and CMMC requirements in support of OST’s classified and sensitive federal programs.
Over the course of his career, Navin has directed the end-to-end build-out of classified data centers, led enterprise network redesigns using MPLS and managed security architectures, and overseen large-scale cloud migration efforts—managing cross-functional teams of up to 150 engineers and budgets exceeding $40M. His ability to align technology investments with mission outcomes, while strengthening security posture and operational reliability, makes him a trusted leader for OST’s clients and partners.
Navin has completed executive coursework at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, ISACA). He also holds cloud certifications across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as Cisco network design and SAFe Agile credentials.
