Director of Government Contracts
Richard Whidden brings over two decades of legal, contractual, and compliance experience to his role as Director of Government Contracts at OST, Inc. In this capacity, he oversees the full contract lifecycle, driving strategy, negotiation, compliance, and risk mitigation for a range of federal programs. With a sharp focus on enhancing operational performance through precise contractual guidance, he plays a key role in supporting OST’s mission as a trusted government contractor.
Prior to joining OST, Richard spent 14 years at Northrop Grumman, where he managed complex commercial and government contracts and led training initiatives on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and best practices in federal contracting. Earlier in his career, he served in both executive and legal counsel roles across nonprofit, public, and private sectors—including as Executive Director and Senior Counsel of a national legal education nonprofit, and as Assistant County and City Attorney in Florida, where he provided legal counsel on procurement, grants, and administrative matters.
Richard holds a Juris Doctor. His deep expertise in government contracting and compliance continues to advance OST’s delivery of secure, compliant, and high-performing federal solutions.
