OST Awarded Army Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3)

OST Press Release SymbolWashington, D.C., October 2018 – OST, Inc. has been awarded the Army Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) IDIQ contract, which will be used for a broad range of professional services including engineering services, research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) services, logistics services, acquisition and strategic planning services, and education and training services. This contract is a consolidation of five large IDIQ contracts including: Rapid Response Third Generation (R2-3G); Warrior Enabling Broad Sensor (WEBS); Technical Information Engineering Services (TIES); Technical, Administrative, Operations Support Services (TAOSS); and Strategic Services Sourcing (S3). Overall, the contract will fulfill requirements for the Army Material Command (AMC) Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) and has an estimated ceiling value of $34.7B.

The U.S. Army CECOM aspires to be the Army’s premier capabilities provider of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR). By providing C4ISR systems and sustainment to Army forces through the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) process, CECOM, which is under the AMC, and its strategic partners are vital members of the Material Enterprise. As the Warfighter’s one-stop-shop for life-cycle support of the communications-electronics systems and equipment that they carry, CECOM is the designated life-cycle management command; thus, conducting training missions, providing field support for equipment and systems modifications and upgrades, and logistical expertise to ensure the on-time delivery of equipment, services, and capabilities to the Warfighter.

The CECOM mission is to develop, acquire, provide and sustain world-class C4ISR systems and battle command capabilities for the joint Warfighter. To fulfill the requirements for the AMC CECOM, this contract will provide Strategic Services Sourcing 2nd Generation (S32G) services. OST will support CECOM’s mission by providing C4ISR services, as well as, supporting the continuing requirement for rapid response (R2) services to support critical systems requirements for the Command and Control (C2) systems integration directorate (C2SID).
