Washington, D.C., March 2019 – OST, Inc. has been awarded the Stafford County Smart Town Center contract. Together with the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), OST will support the development of a “smart” town center to be known as Downtown Stafford.
OST will leverage its smart technology experience in areas such as waste management, smart poles, intelligent traffic management, CCTV/video analytics, smart parking, and energy management to create a hub of integrated smart technologies that promotes efficiency, public safety, and sustainability, while saving energy and reducing costs. The recent kick-off meeting between OST, CIT and Stafford County officials to discuss the first phases of implementation was both productive and exciting.
