Washington, D.C., April 2019 – OST, Inc. and the Greater Washington Board of Trade (BOT) signed a partnership agreement to cooperate on establishing the Greater Washington Smart Region Movement (GWSRM). The purpose of the GWSRM is to transform the Greater Washington Region into a global hub for business, technology, and policy innovation by encouraging collaboration among the public and private sectors on regional smart initiatives. Similar initiatives have integrated smart sensors and devices throughout local areas to improve safety, save energy, reduce traffic, control lighting, improve communications, and generally reduce expenditures.
