OST, Inc. Responds to COVID-19

Tysons, VA, March 2020: With fear over the COVID-19 pandemic gripping the entire nation, you would expect a nationwide technical solutions company like OST, Inc. to find a technical response to ensure employee safety. Indeed, OST almost immediately leveraged its technical prowess to institute a remote work policy designed to limit the possibility of exposure to employees and customers. The head office in Tysons, VA is now minimally staffed, as the majority of personnel are working from home. This has not affected productivity at all, as the OST mission is to “solve complex problems and overcome challenges to deliver optimized, value-driven solutions.” When proper customer support requires an onsite presence, OST is there, taking all reasonable precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

OST is not focused only on itself, however. Nor is it standing idle, waiting for a solution from elsewhere. OST has teamed up with our top tier partners – H&S Commercial & Industrial Supplies & Services, LLC (H&S) and Pilot Catastrophe – to provide a wide range of comprehensive COVID-19 response and recovery services throughout the United States and abroad. OST is currently working with federal, state, and local governments in 12 US sites to provide expert personnel, technology, and mobile equipment. The team’s rapid response capabilities include benefits/claims processing, medical personnel and supplies, isolation facilities, medical equipment, and other critical support to meet any surge requirements.

“We are all in this together,” explains Ajay Madan, OST Chief Operating Officer. “We have a responsibility to the community to find any opportunity to help mitigate this crisis.” To that end, the company has scheduled multiple telecom brainstorming sessions, calling for any ideas from any employee to be “routed up the chain” for consideration. Everyone hopes this unprecedented situation will be resolved quickly, and OST stands ready to help wherever possible until that hope becomes a reality.
