OST Wins Contract to Upgrade Veterans Affairs Enterprise Management System

Washington, D.C., March 2014 – The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Inspector General (OIG) awarded OST a contract to design, develop, and upgrade its Enterprise Management System (EMS) to give users central access to all OIG data across divisions, from investigations and auditing to management.

OST is integrating multiple systems to build the EMS, including a Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) case management solution OST successfully integrated and enhanced for another federal customer.

As part of this effort, the OST team will also integrate and re-develop a series of VA Master Case Index (MCI) modules for data entry, storage, search, and reporting to operate in the new environment and add new functionality. The team is modernizing the environment using .NET 4.0 to create a more maintainable system. OST will also use its Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 practices with Agile methodologies to produce a series of additional upgrades that will bring immediate value to VA.

“We are honored to serve the Department of Veterans Affairs and help them fulfill their mission of serving the country’s veterans by bringing a streamlined and consolidated enterprise system to OIG,” said OST Senior Vice President David Maurstad.

OST is partnering with a service-disabled veteran-owned business for this effort.
